Privacy Policy

Effective July 28, 2026

Summary

Glasswright does not collect, track, sell, or transmit personal data. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics service, or developer-operated cloud backend.

Mac documents

Patterns, embedded reference images, color plans, and fabrication settings are stored in local .glasswright files at locations you choose. Glasswright reads those files only to provide the editing, printing, and export features you request.

Camera and iPhone measurements

The iPhone companion requests Camera access to detect a flat surface, measure an outline, and capture the reference image you choose to save. Camera processing and measurement occur on the device.

Saved .glassscan packages remain local unless you choose a destination through Apple’s share sheet.

App preferences

The Mac app stores printer-calibration values in its private app preferences. These values are available only to Glasswright and are not transmitted to the developer.

Sharing and Apple services

Any file sharing is initiated by you and handled by the destination you select, such as AirDrop, Messages, Mail, or Files. Those services operate under their own privacy policies. Apple separately processes App Store purchases and distribution under Apple’s privacy policy.

Children’s privacy

Glasswright does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated if Glasswright’s data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions may be sent to support@glasswright.app.
